ASOSPAC was founded in 2017 with 29 member farmers, and today has grown to nearly 45 participating smallholders. The producers hail from the township of Santiago Perez, as well as other nearby villages in southern Tolima. The average elevation for the farms here is 1,900 meters above sea level, and the producers grow a majority of Caturra coffee.
The coffee is picked ripe, depulped the same day, and fermented for 24–36 hours before being washed and dried on patios.
